Texas Governor Greg Abbott has declared an invasion at the state’s border due to what he sees as the impact of President Biden’s policies. In response, Texas has mobilized the National Guard, Department of Public Safety (DPS), and local law enforcement. Efforts include the construction of a border wall, installation of razor wire and marine barriers, as well as taking measures to repel migrants.
