This extension is designed to accommodate the increasing demand from both retail and institutional investors worldwide. The NYSE will file updated rules with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and anticipates that trades executed during these extended hours will be cleared by the Depository Trust & Clearing Corporation (DTCC). This move could significantly enhance trading flexibility and access for investors.
