The humanitarian crisis taking place in NYC has reached a point where not only are the shelters at capacity, the city is making controversial agreements with hotels to become emergency housing for asylum seekers. While everyone deserves a place to stay, the price of hotels is going way up… but is that because of the asylum crisis, or another reason?
