Congress has secretly paid out more than $17 million of your money to quietly settle charges of sexual and other harassment claims.
Rep. Thomas Massie (R-KY) called this week for Congress to release the names of House members who have been accused of “harassment (sexual and other forms)” and used taxpayer money to settle the claims.
Massie, a deficit hawk and libertarian-leaning Republican, posed to X on Thursday and wrote, “Congress has secretly paid out more than $17 million of your money to quietly settle charges of harassment (sexual and other forms) in Congressional offices.”
