This was one of those moments where the mask slipped and nobody quite knew what to do with it. Calling JD Vance an assassin on a live stage is not a joke that lands softly in this climate. You could feel the split second where she realized the room and the cameras mattered. That is what happens when celebrity politics runs on impulse instead of brakes. It is funny until it is clipped, replayed, and used as proof of something darker.
