It is interesting to see the various approaches each country is taking to add this new capability to their fleets.

Size of carriers selected. These can vary from very small ships compared to an aircraft carrier, up to rather full sized carriers.
I would be tempted to downsize the carriers as much as possible to reduce the size of target they present, and also go for multiple vessels rather than single large vessels.
But it seems these designs end up performing lots of roles (carrying command personnel, also acting as assault carriers, helo carriers, etc. and hence still end up being quite large).
