Nearly 100 minors detained at mall in Carson

Sharing is Caring!

On Saturday, July 6, 2024, a large-scale disturbance involving approximately 60 to 70 juveniles occurred outside the SouthBay Pavilion Mall in Carson, California. The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department responded to reports of a trash can being set on fire by the group of minors. Fortunately, there were no reported injuries, but law enforcement intervened, and several teenagers were detained. The exact reasons behind the disturbance remain unclear, but the mall was forced to close early due to the incident.
