Mount Etna is erupting with full force, sending massive plumes of ash into the sky and forcing tourists to flee. The volcano, located on the eastern coast of Sicily, has entered a phase of intense activity, with lava fountains shooting from the Southeast Crater and pyroclastic flows cascading down its slopes.
The eruption began early in the morning, with seismic activity increasing throughout the night.
