For anyone who’s been following this story, there’s some terribly sad news coming out today. The father of the missing Maui woman Hannah Koboyashi who disappeared after missing her connecting flight at LAX has been found dead of an apparent suicide.
Ryan Koybashi traveled to LA from Hawaii to help find his missing daughter. It sounds like the stress of this whole situation must have gotten to him. This is absolutely heartbreaking to hear. I can only imagine he was sick with worry and fear thinking about his daughter being out there in that nasty city, and who knows what happened to her, but I am sure her dads instinct knew it wasn’t good. I think she’s likely dead and her father knew this. He probably couldn’t live without her. It’s a very heartbreaking situation all around.
