With a single executive order, the U.S. government is moving forward with a Crypto Strategic Reserve, meaning a portion of your future tax dollars will be used to buy certain cryptocurrencies—whether you like it or not.
It didn’t take long for the markets to react. Bitcoin exploded $10,000 overnight, and big insider bets were placed just before Trump’s announcement. Eight minutes before the close on Friday, someone bought over $1 million in short-term MicroStrategy ($MSTR) calls, and just like that, Trump’s crypto reserve tweet dropped. Coincidence? Not a chance.
And it wasn’t just BTC. A trader opened a $72 million leveraged position on Bitcoin and a $123 million position on Ethereum the day before Trump’s announcement. Someone knew exactly what was coming, and they didn’t just bet big—they bet with leverage. That’s not speculation, that’s front-running government policy.
This is state-run capitalism at its worst. Government shouldn’t be picking winners and losers in the market, whether it’s Tesla, Oracle, or Cardano. But now, taxpayer money is set to flow into handpicked crypto assets, while the insiders who knew ahead of time cash out. None of this benefits the average citizen—this is a rigged game, and the house always wins.
If this is the future of the U.S. economy, then America will never be great again. As long as worthless tokens can be created, pumped, and backed by government fiat, markets will be nothing more than an insider casino.
