This is an absolute outrage. Pharmaceutical companies are price-gouging taxpayers through Medicare, and it’s happening right under our noses. Tetrabenazine, a drug that costs just $75 per prescription, is being billed to Medicare at a staggering $2,600—34 times the regular price. In 2022 alone, Medicare paid out $141 million for this drug, with $133 million of it wasted on inflated costs.
