There is currently a massive international roaming outage affecting customers of Verizon, T-Mobile, and AT&T. If you’re an American customer traveling abroad, you might experience difficulties making calls, sending messages, or using data. The issue is related to a third-party vendor called Syniverse, which manages international roaming connections for various carriers. While the providers are working to resolve the problem, about 30% of Verizon’s customers’ calls and data connections from overseas are currently affected.

30% is a lie and it's been over 24 hours. No word from Verizon to it's customers. No word from our government. People stranded. Huge safety concern. No pay phones. No land lines. No access to travel information or any indication when it will be resolved. 😡
