Mass Shooting in Anaheim, California leaves 4 people shot at a Baby Shower party celebration

Four gang members were arrested after a shooting at a baby shower in Anaheim left three people hospitalized.

On Feb. 28, Anaheim police responded to the 2000 block of S. Sprague Lane around 7:15 p.m.

Investigators said four gang members arrived at the courtyard to confront rival gang members who were attending the shower.

The suspects, armed with two handguns and an AR-style firearm, shot into the crowd, striking three juvenile gang members and an adult bystander, police said. They fled the scene before officers arrived.

The three juvenile victims were taken to a local hospital, where they remain in stable condition. The adult victim was treated at the scene.

Following an investigation, detectives identified the suspects as Zine Jassim, 18, of Anaheim and three juveniles whose identities were not released due to their minor status.
