People have jobs, lives, emergencies. Arrests suck, sure, but someone has to make the streets work. You can’t just sit in the middle and act like rules don’t apply.

Police can arrest people at a protest if the group blocks entrances or stops others from getting through. A protest can start peaceful, but once it blocks access to a hospital or another essential place, police usually step in. So the arrests don’t automatically mean the nurses were violent, it just means the blockade crossed a legal line.
