If people would just use COMMON SENSE and OBEY THE LAW and not do anything STUPID when approached by a police officer, there would not be any issues at all. When you are told by a police officer to put your vehicle in park, PUT THE DAMN THING IN PARK. Do NOT try to drive off!!! Use COMMON SENSE and do what the officer tells you to do!
