EPHRATA, Pa. (WHTM) — At least 45 fire companies and about 200 firefighters are responding to the scene of a building fire in Ephrata, Lancaster County this morning.

Officials say they were called to the scene at Martin’s Country Market on the 1700 block of West Main Street in Ephrata Township just before 4 a.m.

Upon arrival, crews say they found moderate smoke coming from the rear of the building and actions were immediately taken to begin fighting the fire. Officials say while the building did not have a sprinkler system, there is a hydrant system in that area of Ephrata Township.
