Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei blamed the collapse of Syrian President Bashar al-Assad’s regime on a plot by the United States, Israel and an unnamed Syrian neighbor.
Khamenei claimed Wednesday that Iran had evidence of a scheme involving the U.S., Israel and a Syrian neighbor, likely Turkey who has backed anti-Assad rebels.
