Trump reportedly told NBC News the ceasefire will "last forever." And Santa Claus has flying reindeer. And the Easter Bunny is real, too. My God, who is dumb enough to believe this claim? Again, my prediction, on the record, is that this ceasefire doesn't last 1,000 hours. Hope…

The Law of Unintended Consequences: The unintended consequences of a U.S. attack on Iran’s nuclear facilities could include a broader regional conflict, a greater Iranian determination to pursue nuclear weapons, possible retaliatory attacks against U.S. interests in the Middle East, and many other unforeseen retaliatory actions.
You can be sure that the Iranian retaliation will be very smart, very calculated, and very painful for Israel and the US…..
With its large missile arsenal, Iran could strike US military bases in the Middle East or even attack infrastructure of US allies in the Persian Gulf region.
Iranian forces could also “indirectly threaten Americans at embassies around the world” and even conduct cyberattacks against US interests.
Today, the Iranian parliament plans to pass a bill to suspend cooperation with the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) due to its politicized stance – Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, Iran’s speaker in parliament.
The Iranian parliament already passed a resolution to close the Strait of Hormuz… The Strait of Hormuz is the gateway for 30% of the world’s oil consumption… So expect oil prices to skyrocket – “Iran Has the Means to Shut Down Strait of Hormuz”
Without mentioning any specific attacks on oil infrastructure in the Middle East, “the actual impact on energy prices will depend, however, more on how Iran responds,” – Political analyst Faisal Alshammeri.
Alshammeri adds: “A symbolic or contained reaction could limit market fluctuations, while a broader escalation could lead to more substantial and sustained price increases.”
Alshammeri notes: “However, the extent of the damage depends on the scale and duration of these threats.”
However, any further Houthi attacks on US-linked shipping in the Red Sea will create problems for the US economy, including “longer shipping times, higher insurance costs, and inflationary pressures in certain sectors.”
June 23, following the US attacks on nuclear facilities in Iran over the weekend, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi is in Moscow for crucial talks with President Putin.
Speaking to reporters after arriving in Moscow early Monday morning, Araghchi stated that the situation requires urgent coordination. Iran appears to want to coordinate with Russia any future actions against Israel/US….
Putin: “The resolution of the conflict must include mutual security guarantees, protecting both Iran’s right to peaceful nuclear development and Israel’s right to security.”
Therefore, Iran will not accept a cessation of hostilities until Israel and the United States adhere to Iran’s security agreements.
BTW – “Israel not only failed in its ten-day military operation against Iran but was on the verge of defeat. Had Israel not been in a crisis, the U.S. would not have intervened,” Former Iranian Ambassador to Germany Seyed Hossein Mousavian
