Iran-US war latest: Trump claims conflict will be over soon but US hasn’t ‘won enough’ yet
Trump claimed US has ‘already won in many ways’ and its military objectives are ‘pretty well complete’
President Donald Trump has claimed the Iran conflict could soon be over and insisted the US is “far ahead” of its “initial timeline”.
Trump said the US has “already won” the Iran war, but added it hasn’t “won enough”.
“We’re knocking them out. We know where they all are. We’re knocking them out very quickly. We’re ahead of our initial timeline by a lot,” he said, giving an update from Florida.
Speaking to House Republicans earlier on Monday, he also said Iran was going to attack all of the Middle East and Israel, claiming: “Israel would have been wiped out.”

Iran's new Supreme Leader 'is wounded': Ayatollah Khamenei's son sustained mystery injury, claims state TV https://t.co/ROTQQR6R1X

Ayatollah Ali Khamenei’s son has been wounded in the Iran war, it emerged today after he was named as the country’s new Supreme Leader.
Mojtaba, 56, the second son of the late Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, was announced as his successor on Sunday after being appointed by the regime’s 88-person assembly – despite previous opposition from his father.
The ‘vengeful’ hardline cleric is already marked for assassination by Israel after it vowed to ‘eliminate’ whoever succeeded the slain Ayatollah, having killed him and Mojtaba’s wife Zahra Haddad-Adel in strikes on the first day of the conflict.
