Even with companies offering inflation bonuses, people see their shopping carts growing emptier for the same amount of money.
- Italy: Italy faces a similar struggle, with inflation hitting a 37-year high. Soaring energy costs, exacerbated by the pandemic’s lingering effects, have put severe pressure on Italian households and businesses. Many small businesses, particularly local shops, are at risk of closing, as citizens increasingly find it hard to manage basic expenses.
Both nations are facing an uphill battle as economic uncertainty continues to weigh heavily on their citizens.
