Immigration authorities detained 538 individuals in enforcement operations across sanctuary cities, including Newark, Boston, and NYC.

Newark’s mayor called the arrests “egregious” and claimed ICE violated rights, but officials insist these are routine operations targeting criminals, including an alleged MS-13 member.

Massachusetts Gov. Maura Healey backed ICE’s efforts, saying, “I support the apprehension of criminals in our communities.”

Looks like not everyone’s buying the outrage.
