ICE expands enforcement operations, targeting criminal aliens, gang members, and fugitives. National Guard deployed to support law enforcement.

Federal immigration enforcement remains a cornerstone of national security, with ICE, CBP, and the National Guard playing critical roles in maintaining order. These agencies operate under a clear mandate to remove criminal aliens, gang members, and fugitives from communities, ensuring public safety and upholding the rule of law.

ICE’s budget stands at 8 billion dollars, supporting 25 field offices and over 400 locations dedicated to enforcement and removal operations. These resources enable officers to conduct targeted operations, focusing on individuals with criminal records and outstanding deportation orders.

The latest enforcement actions have resulted in over 2,200 arrests per day, a significant increase compared to previous years. Among those detained, authorities have identified individuals linked to drug trafficking, human smuggling, and violent crimes. The agency’s ability to execute these operations efficiently underscores its role in safeguarding American communities.

The deployment of 2,000 National Guard troops to Los Angeles highlights the federal government’s commitment to maintaining order amid rising tensions. Protests erupted following large-scale ICE operations, leading to confrontations between demonstrators and law enforcement. Officials reported 118 arrests, including five alleged gang members and individuals connected to domestic violence, robbery, and drug trafficking.

Law enforcement officers continue to face increasing risks, with assaults against ICE agents rising by 413 percent in recent months. Despite these challenges, officers remain steadfast in their mission, ensuring that enforcement efforts proceed without disruption.
