On July 11, 2024, a dangerous fire erupted inside a four-story apartment building in Northeast Philadelphia near Cottman Avenue and Roosevelt Boulevard. Flames leapt above the building into the night sky, and the fire quickly grew from a 2nd to a 3rd alarm blaze.
