Missiles strike on Kyiv

At least one person has been killed and seven wounded after a Russian missile attack targeted Ukraine’s capital.

A Houthi missile from Yemen struck Tel Aviv, injuring 16 and causing property damage. The hypersonic missile, named “Palestine 2,” hit a public park in Jaffa on December 21, 2024, creating a crater and shattering nearby windows. Victims suffered minor injuries, mostly from flying glass.

Israel’s defense systems, including Iron Dome and Arrow, failed to intercept the missile. This marks the second attack on central Israel in just two days. In response, Israeli forces launched airstrikes targeting Houthi military sites, ports, and energy infrastructure in Sanaa.

The Houthis claim these strikes are acts of solidarity with Palestinians, part of escalated tensions following the Gaza war in October 2023. The ongoing attacks deepen regional instability.
