During the 2008 Democratic primary, Hillary Clinton said in an ABC interview:“I want the Iranians to know that if I am the president, we will attack Iran.”
She was answering a hypothetical question: What would the U.S. do if Iran launched a nuclear attack on Israel? She added that the U.S. would be able to “totally obliterate” Iran in response.
