Police say the girl died at the property in Malton “despite the efforts of medical professionals and a member of the public who came to the family’s aid”.
A 10-year-old girl has died from “serious injuries” after being bitten by her family’s dog at her home in North Yorkshire.
Police say they were called to the property in the town of Malton, to the north-east of York, at around 4.15pm on Friday.
