Here are some recent incidents:

• Solingen Knife Attack: A 26-year-old Syrian man, motivated by ISIS, attacked people at a festival, resulting in three deaths and eight injuries.
• Siegen Bus Attack: A 32-year-old woman attacked six people on a bus heading to a festival. There was no political or religious motive.
• Mannheim Knife Attack: An anti-Islam activist and others were injured in a knife attack at a market square.
