Germany gives Ukraine a heavy slap in the face

“Not now and never.” With that said, it seems very likely that Ukraine can abandon all hope, immediately.

Chancellor, Olaf Scholz, made it clear before a meeting with Ukrainian President, Volodymyr Zelensky, in New York that his country will absolutely not give Ukraine long-range weapons.

Scholz and Zelensky met on the sidelines of the United Nations General Assembly, and the German Chancellor took advantage of that moment to immediately dot the i’s and cross the t’s. It’s a decision of the German government, Scholz emphasized. “We will not do it and we have good reasons for that.” Ukraine will not receive permission from Germany in the future either, even if allies do provide it with weapons.
