French PM Submits Resignation

Michel Barnier arrived at the Elysee Palace to submit his resignation and that of his government to Macron after losing a vote of no confidence in parliament yesterday.

It’s unknown whether Macron will ask him to remain as caretaker PM until a replacement can be found or whether he already has someone in mind for the role.
