Sharing is Caring!

Asif W. Rahman, a former CIA official, was arrested by the FBI in Cambodia on charges of leaking classified documents concerning Israel’s plans to strike Iran. Rahman faces two counts of willful retention and transmission of national defense information. The documents, marked as “top secret” and “secure compartmented information,” were allegedly shared with unauthorized individuals and were circulated online in late October. They outlined Israeli preparations for a counterattack on Iran, including military strategies and munitions movements. Rahman has been brought to Guam to face federal court amid growing concerns over leaks.
