WASHINGTON (7News) — The Metropolitan Police Department is looking for a suspect in a mass shooting in Northwest D.C. that left five people hurt Thursday evening.

MPD Interim Chief Jeff Carroll said the shooting happened around 5:45 p.m. near Military Road and 16th Street, NW, on Jan. 22. Preliminary information indicated an argument on a bus escalated into gunfire.
