The White House has confirmed that the first flights carrying illegal migrants from the United States to Guantanamo Bay have commenced. White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt announced this significant development on Tuesday morning.
“President Trump is not messing around, and he’s no longer going to let America be a dumping ground for illegal criminals from all over this world,” Leavitt stated. She also mentioned that countries like El Salvador, Venezuela, and Colombia have agreed to take back their illegal criminals on repatriation flights.
This initiative marks a new phase in the Trump administration’s crackdown on illegal immigration. Guantanamo Bay, traditionally known for housing military prisoners, is now being prepared to accommodate up to 30,000 migrants.
