FDA Saw Child Vaccine Death Concerns Then The Warning Never Appeared

Something about this story is going to make people stop and ask questions.

Sen. Ron Johnson released internal FDA emails showing agency staff were reviewing reports involving children who died after receiving COVID vaccines.

According to the documents, FDA staff looked at around 10 child death cases. Later, the number considered “assessable” was reduced to 7.

The interesting part is what happened inside the agency.

Some cases involved positive parvovirus tests. But one pathologist reportedly called that a “red herring” because the virus can appear in autopsies and the heart damage pattern did not match what they were looking for in vaccine-related myocarditis cases.

Then comes the part that raises eyebrows.

FDA staff recommended updating Pfizer and Moderna vaccine labels to mention “myocarditis with fatal outcomes.”

But that label change never happened.

At the same time, the CDC purchased about $1.24 billion more Pfizer vaccines.

That combination is why this story is getting attention.

The question people are asking is not just “what happened in these cases?”

It is why internal discussions about possible risks appear different from the public messaging.

Supporters of the agencies will point out that official reviews have consistently said the benefits of COVID vaccination outweigh the risks for most people, and serious complications in children remain very rare.

Critics see something else.

They see a system that was extremely focused on promoting confidence but less willing to highlight uncomfortable details.

And that is where trust gets complicated.

A public health agency can argue that a risk is rare and still communicate it clearly. Those two things are not opposites.

The documents show real internal debate about myocarditis cases in children. Whether that proves deliberate hiding of information is a bigger claim and has not been proven.

But the bigger question remains:

When officials discover a possible problem, how much uncertainty should the public be allowed to see before decisions are made for them?
