The James Webb Space Telescope found MoM-z14, a tiny, bright galaxy from just 280 million years after the Big Bang.
That’s the farthest confirmed galaxy ever seen.
Its light traveled 13.5 billion years to get here.
It’s only 240 light-years wide, 400 times smaller than the Milky Way, but it burns with young stars.
Scientists confirmed its distance using redshift: 14.44, a new record.
This discovery blows past expectations and hints that even earlier galaxies could be out there, just waiting for Webb to catch them.
