A mischievous child has stolen the spotlight in the United States House of Representatives by making faces during his congressman father’s speech.

Tennessee Republican John Rose was giving a speech on Monday, local time, condemning former president Donald Trump’s guilty hush-money conviction when his son decided to put on a show for the cameras.

The six-year-old can be seen sitting behind the congressman, grinning cheekily before pulling silly faces by sticking his tongue out.
