EBS development: the major tech expo event planned for October 4-5 in NYC has just been postponed indefinitely.

Sharing is Caring!

I work with a team that was planning to cover this event live.

The organizers must know something is up. They were planning and hyping this event massively for over a year, in conjunction with international events (i.e., Barcelona expo next month).

They had tons of speakers planned for NYC on Oct 4-5, including the Mayor of NY, top people, even Deepak “get your vaccine” Chopra was a speaker.

These are ‘smart city people’ so they’re all about technology. Somebody must have gotten a memo. Was it about EBS? These smart city people had every $$ incentive to do their expo. Only something major would stop them. These are the people who are planning 24-7 surveillance inside your home by combining smart meters/cameras with AI.

The official excuse for cancellation on Oct 4-5, as they reported on Facebook, is “weather”, which is a reference to the recent flooding, but that couldn’t realistically be true. Business has been carrying on as usual in NYC for days. Even last Saturday public transportation busses were already back and running at capacity. And the flooding did not disrupt the event site of Pier 36.

What is it Batman?
