Multiple sources are reporting explosions and anti-aircraft fire near a nuclear facility in #Isfahan, #Iran. The cause of the explosions is still unknown, but Iranian officials have confirmed that at least one drone was shot down near the facility

Iran’s semi-official Isna news agency quoted an official stating that an explosion was heard but its causes and consequences were not clear. The governor of Isfahan, claimed the explosion was part of a military exercise and not related to the nuclear facilities.

Iranian Military Officials are claiming that the Explosions heard earlier near the City of Isfahan were the result of Pre-Planned Defense Exercises, however other Iranian Sources have stated that there were No Exercises which were previously planned for today.

Several explosions were heard at the Center for Nuclear Technology in the Iranian city Isfahan .
The Center, which was built with Chinese help, contains three small reactors.
There is no further news yet.
The Facility is a Uranium Conversion Facility (UCF) that converts yellowcake into uranium hexafluoride.
There is also a Zirconium Production Plant (ZPP) located nearby that produces the necessary ingredients and alloys for nuclear reactors.
There is also a Fuel Plate Fabrication Plant (FPFP) at Isfahan.
