Department of Justice (DOJ) has initiated a criminal antitrust investigation into banks that may have colluded to unwind their positions related to Archegos Capital Management. This investigation is examining whether banks like Credit Suisse, Nomura Holdings, and UBS Group AG coordinated their actions to manage the liquidation of Archegos’ portfolio, which involved over $150 billion in bets.
