Sixteen separate problems were today identified with the first picture of Kate to be released after her surgery after it was claimed to have been digitally altered.

Kensington Palace is under pressure to answer questions about the image of the Princess of Wales and her children, which royal aides said was taken by William. The image was shared with media yesterday – then withdrawn by picture agencies later the same day because of concerns that the image had been manipulated.

Now, MailOnline has analysed the photo and identified 16 issues from Princess Charlotte’s hand to Kate’s zip and Prince Louis’s jumper to Prince George’s arm. Other issues relate to Charlotte’s skirt and knee, Louis’s jumper and hand, Kate’s hair and George’s sleeve – as well as the ledge and step in the background.
