Canada Liberals force through 3 bills to crush free speech and build total surveillance

These bills together give more government control over speech online and data. Not all passed yet but direction is clear toward more rules and surveillance. Debate and court challenges likely.

Tweet reads:

– C-9 (anti-hate law)
– C-22 (legal access/surveillance)
– C-34 (digital security)

Three bills that, together, will annihilate our fundamental rights.

– C-9 (Anti-Hate Law):

Dramatically expands the definition of hate (hate/defamation), eliminates long-standing religious defenses for good-faith expression, and facilitates criminal prosecutions without the Attorney General’s consent. Criticizing, preaching, or even displaying certain symbols could now land you with criminal charges. Gone are the protections for religious freedom of expression and sensitive public debates.

– C-22 (legal access):

Forces Internet service providers to retain metadata for one year, eases police and CSIS access to your data, and allows the minister to impose access fees (backdoors in disguise). Mass surveillance of your digital communications without a warrant. Your online life becomes completely transparent to the state.

– Bill C-34 (Digital Security Act):

This bill creates a powerful government Digital Security Commission that will dictate to platforms, chatbots, and online services what they must censor, how to verify user ages, and how to protect against harmful content. Mandatory age controls, imposed safety plans, massive fines, and sweeping discretionary powers to decide what’s acceptable. Centralized censorship in the name of child protection. Together, these three bills transform Canada into a surveillance and censorship state.

You won’t be able to speak, share, or even think freely without risking being flagged, monitored, or prosecuted. Dissenting voices, immigration critiques, religious debates, controversial opinions—everything becomes dangerous.
Roman Baber explains it perfectly in this 9 min 36 s video. Watch it before it’s too late.

This is no longer governance. It’s the death of freedom of expression as we knew it in Canada. The Liberals have chosen to trample citizens’ rights entirely.
