Bulgaria bans “LGBT propaganda” in schools; law passed with strong parliamentary support.

The Bulgarian parliament recently passed a law banning what it terms “LGBT propaganda” in schools. The amendment, proposed by the pro-Russian Vazrazhdane party, was approved with a majority of 159 votes in favor, 22 against, and 12 abstentions.
