A section of the Carola Bridge in Dresden, Germany, partially collapsed early this morning around 3:00 AM. Fortunately, no one was injured as the collapse happened during the early hours when the bridge was not in use. The incident has disrupted traffic and halted boat traffic on the Elbe River.
Authorities are investigating the cause, but initial reports suggest that structural issues might be to blame. The collapse has also affected the city’s heating system due to damaged pipes.
