The military government in Burkina Faso has averted a coup attempt.
“Officers and other participants in coup attempt have been arrested, and others are being actively sought.”
Thousands of demonstrators marched in the capital on Tuesday to support the military leadership.

Apparently the coup plotters were supported and paid by the French, using the President of Ivory Coast as a go between.
Plot fell apart when one of the BF Officials they tried to bribe went to the leadership with it.
Ivory Coast president plotted a coup against #IbrahimTraore and it has failed. The French government is paying the weak leaders of west African billions to overthrow government that have decided to work for its people.
