Several fiber optic networks in France were sabotaged recently, affecting multiple telecommunications operators in six areas of the country. Paris, however, was not impacted.
Authorities are investigating the incidents, and there have been some arrests linked to the sabotage. The acts of vandalism have disrupted internet services for thousands of users.
