In a bold move, Democrat lawmakers have proposed a bill that sets specific thresholds for border patrol action. The proposed law suggests taking action only when the number of migrants crossing hits between 4,000 and 5,000 per day, with mandatory measures kicking in after surpassing 8,000.
But, as Senator James Lankford from Oklahoma points out, is this bill a real solution or just normalizing a high influx of migrants?
