‘The Hangzhou Zoo, located in Zhejiang, Hangzhou, China, had to issue a statement this weekend after people saw this video and questioned if the Sun Bears at their zoo were actually humans dressed in costumes.
The Zoo stated:
“If you get someone to wear such thick fur in this summer heat, they won’t last more than a few minutes before they need to lie down,” said a spokesperson for the zoo. We are a government-operated zoo. There will never be situations like that.”
