At least 8 people, including children, hurt in SoCal home explosion

CHINO HILLS, Calif. (KABC) — At least eight people are in the hospital after a home exploded in Chino Hills on Sunday.

The explosion happened around 3:45 p.m. at a home in the 4200 block of Sierra Vista Drive.

AIR7 video from above the scene shows pieces of the home scattered all over Sierra Vista Drive, and a gas line built into a wall outside the home, which burned for hours.

In a later update, the Chino Valley Fire District said the gas leak at the property was stopped at 10:45 p.m.
