Asheville Regional Airport Reopens

ASHEVILLE, N.C. (WLOS) — Asheville Regional Airport has resumed commercial flights as of Tuesday, Sept. 30. We spoke to Asheville Regional Airport spokesperson Tina Kinsey for updates on flights, parking and other information.

Flights
Some flights have resumed through the airport in and out of Asheville, but that does not include all scheduled flights.

The airport is not posting flight status on its website, because it does not have the ability to update it with internet issues.

Kinsey said the best way for travelers to check flight status is with their individual airlines.

“It’s really important for passengers to get in contact with their particular airline, check their particular flight status before coming to the airport. And the best ways to do that are online, or call if you can and if you have your airline’s app that’s a great opportunity to find out real time flight status,” Kinsey said.
