The Megyn Kelly Show host Megyn Kelly has called for US President Joe Biden to resign immediately after announcing he would be stepping aside ahead of the presidential election in November.
Biden on Sunday afternoon local time officially ended his bid for re-election following mounting pressure for him to drop out after his disastrous debate performance against Donald Trump.
“This man should not be leader of the free world. He should not be our president,” Ms Kelly told Sky News host Paul Murray.
“He should be resigning the presidency along with his candidacy for a second term. If you can’t do a second term as president, why should we allow him to finish out the first term?
“I mean, he’s admitting he’s not competent to handle the job so it’s an outrage that he’s doing it.”
