Facebook finds ways to gather your information even if you don’t use it.

Say you despise Facebook and all its evil offspring like Instagram, Meta, whatever. You have purged your mobile device of all traces of their apps. You never visit their sites. Facebook paid other app providers to stick some code into their apps so that Facebook can STILL extract your data and usage stats.
